Delta Mold Inc, (DMI) is a modern mold making, mold repair, and mold-sampling facility located in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are currently the largest production tool shop in the Southeast. Our primary mold making facility utilizes 54,000 square feet of climate-controlled manufacturing space, housing 20 and 25-ton overhead cranes, along with state-of-the art high-speed mills, as well as EDM machines capable of building most sizes of steel or aluminum tooling.  Our typical tool size capabilities range for injection presses from 300 ton up to 3500-tons. 

Additionally, DMI has an adjacent service and repair building, which utilizes 14,000 square feet of climate-controlled manufacturing space. DMI is committed to quick turn-around service for our customer’s repair and change requirements.

DMI offers in-house sampling with a 2500 ton Cincinnati two-barrel injection press (capable of 352 ounce shots), and a 950-ton Toshiba injection press (capable of 176 ounce shots).Our sampling capabilities include considerable experience with two shot, gas assist, and co-injection molding.

DMI has been manufacturing high quality tooling in the Charlotte area since 1978. During this time, our diversified customer base has come to respect DMI for our ability to produce high quality on-time molds for a variety of industries, and for our unwavering commitment to in-depth customer service. Our expertise is rooted in building high quality production injection, compression, and RIM molds for the plastics industry, as well as providing extensive mold repair, maintenance and change requirement services.
