New Director of Engineering John Naylor, John comes to us with over 32 years of experience in the tool and die field. John served his apprenticeship and earned his mold makers journeyman’s card with U.S. Die and Mold. Shortly after that, John move into mold design and program management while working for U.S. Die and Mold and two other shops. John was then hired by HS Die and Engineering where he was employed for the past 23 years prior to coming to DMI.

John’s vast tooling knowledge has come from years of experience in Program Management, Engineering Management, Mold Build Processes, Part Design and Feasibility, Mold Samplings, and Part Approval Procedures. We at DMI feel very fortunate to have acquired John for employment and we are looking forward to John contributing to our ongoing success for many of years to come.

Danny Johnson is now our VP of Manufacturing. Danny’s primary responsibilities will revolve around improving DMI’s overall efficiencies, and overseeing our Part Sampling and Processing Requirements. Danny’s vast experience in Manufacturing Techniques, and Processing Knowledge make him especially suited for this task. Through continuous research and development of new manufacturing techniques, and through staying up on the latest machine and tooling technologies, Danny will help facilitate as well as advance DMI’s standing as a reputable quality tooling manufacture.
